The Mont Alto Pottery Guild was founded as a ceramic artists cooperative in 2003 by the Nicodemus Center for Ceramic Studies to foster contemporary pottery making. Current membership stands near 40 artisans, who range in experience from the novice to more than 40 years experience with clay.

Our studio is housed in the General Studies Building of the Penn State Mont Alto campus. This location allows a close cultural affiliation with the campus. Non credit classes in pottery and clay sculpture are available to the campus students, faculty and staff and to the general public.
